Not really. This is a kid's show, written for kids. Plenty of opportunity to kill each other, but they don't.

I can understand if he's her husband, brother, father, or son, but he's just her boyfriend so there's really no attachment. She rather pick him over her duty, responsibility for Earth, and her friends. Typical stupidly in love girl for sure.
